just some update
I realized I haven't posted for a while .. mostly because there isn't so much exciting to tell. The time before Christmas is always busy with shopping, social events and last minute commissions (not so many this time, oh well). I tend to participate in some of the sweepstakes floating around the net but never win anything and try to be a nicer person which usually doesn't work out either. (not that I'm so very horrible but its hard to stay calm and friendly in the cold and rush hour shopping)

The year leaves me pretty much broke .. so to even out my sparse christmas gifts I did my own christmas card at least - I just hope I'll get the prints in time..

I have to admit that christmas shopping for the kids in the family is really fun, though ;D

I hope all of you have a good time ..

It seems like that's the only reason adults have fun at Christmas anymore, is if there are children in the family. ^^ I know all of us are pretty humbug this year and trying to get into the spirit but...the nephews are in Alaska and cant come down for the holiday and this year just seems to have gone by so fast we're still feeling jetlag. XD

We're still decorating the house and the yard with Christmas stuff naturally. We're just not really "into the spirit" of things as it were. ^^ With kids, it's just a lot more lively and gay during the holidays. Without them, things just seem so dull and you feel like you have to force yourself to celebrate them. *shrugs* I'm hoping that changes soon though. To me, it should be about the warm fellowship of family and a time to really count your blessings. Cus unfortunately in this modern age, all too often we take the things that really matter for granted, and that's why when they're gone we're left with so many regrets. I'm hoping before Christmas gets here, we remember what it's really about.
